We recommend applying for an e-Visa no later than 4 days before your planned date of entry into India. To avoid processing delays by the Bureau of Immigration of the Ministry of Home Affairs of India, we recommend applying in advance.
The visa processing time is up to 3 days from the moment the Indian authorities receive the application, required documents, and visa fee payment. In some cases, processing may take longer due to the workload of the Bureau of Immigration of the Ministry of Home Affairs of India or a request for additional documents.
The decision to issue a visa is made exclusively by the Consulate of India. Paid fees are non-refundable in the event of a refusal by the Consulate.
An e-Arrival Card is required to enter India. The document must be presented during passport control and does not replace a visa. We provide this document free of charge to our clients.
Entry with an e-Visa is possible through 34 international airports, 38 seaports, and 4 land border crossing points in India. Exit is permitted through any immigration checkpoint in the country. For subsequent trips using a valid e-Visa, entry is also possible through any authorized point of entry.
